What was your route into the Digital and Technology Strategy Team at Strategy&?
I got to know the Digital and Technology Strategy Practice at a campus event in Mannheim – the possibility of working cross-industry at the interface between strategy and technology immediately excited me. For me, the Digital and Technology Strategy Practice offers the ideal combination of subject breadth and functional depth – so it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to be part of it.
What was the most exciting strategic project you have worked on so far?
My most exciting issue concerned a client in FinTech, for whom we devised a company-wide 5-year strategy. As part of this, together with the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board, we set the direction for sustainable and long-term growth and accordingly asked, for the entire portfolio: “Will this product still be competitive in 5 years’ time?”
What do you most value about working in the Digital and Technology Strategy Team?
I most value our diverse team, with experts from (practically) every conceivable discipline, and the culture within our community. Through numerous events and platforms, we ensure a continuous exchange of ideas, and support each other mutually on new issues and challenges. For us, it’s true that a good team is more than the sum of its parts.
