What was your path to joining Strategy&’s Pharma & Life Sciences team? My journey began with an internship in the summer of 2021, right after completing my Master’s degree in Biotechnology. Working on two exciting and very different projects gave me my first taste of PLS and, thanks to my scientific background and interest in the industry, I was able to quickly get involved in the topics. From the very beginning, the team also made it easy for me to feel welcome. So when I joined full-time shortly afterwards, I immediately knew: this is where I could find my professional home.
What do you value most about working in the Pharma & Life Sciences team? First, of course, there is the wide range of exciting topics we work on. In the Pharma & Life Sciences industry, we create real value for people by contributing to healthier and better lives. I also really value the exchange with colleagues from a wide variety of professional backgrounds. Whether they come from a traditional business background or from natural sciences, medicine or engineering, everyone can find their place here. It is precisely this diversity that makes working together, both on and beyond projects, so enriching.
What has been your favorite moment in the Pharma & Life Sciences team so far? After five years, it’s actually difficult to name just one moment. What I particularly value about consulting is working directly with clients on-site. That’s why the moments after successful major client workshops have always been especially rewarding for me, when we achieved outstanding results together and could really feel the satisfaction among both the client and the team. And of course, our PLS team events, such as our annual Oktoberfest get-together, are always a real highlight!
